Christmas Time in Texas

I decided to get a Christmas tree for my apartment this year. It's nothing fancy. No ornaments. Just a small, fake tree with lights and a star on top. To remind me that it is, in fact, winter and it is, in fact, Christmas. Despite the weather and the absence of family.

Just a little something festive.

It will do. This year. I can't wait for next year though. I plan on going all out for the holidays in the coming year.

Well, at any rate... Here is our cute little tree this year.

Now, I admit that it's not ideal... But it's still pretty cute if I do say so myself.
